I once was walking to school with my dad, I was having anxiety about our mean math teacher who would make me cry from time to time. I talked to him about it and tears started to form in my eyes. We stopped because I started to cry. He told me ( I don’t remember the exact words) : “Sometimes when I’m feeling anxiety, I stop what I’m doing and take a moment to look around and focus on the present”. Morale of the story: Leave the past behind, focus on the present, and look forward to whatever the future holds.
