My husband and I live in the Palmer Divide region of Colorado, an area that has high storm activity. This month (September, 2013) Colorado experienced horrific storms that dropped one to three inches of rain an hour in some areas. The flooding was absolutely terrible and is not over as I write.
We have lived here ten years. We have gone through several large hail storms and have replaced our roof three times. This last year we focused on programming protection from hail. When this current storm hit, my husband and I had a feeling we were safe. We just held that vibration. All roads to our house were impassable due to mud (a common occurence) but we had little heavy rain at the house. As the days went by, we began to notice something strange in the weather maps we saw on the news. The area around our house was a color that indicated a little less storm activity. And that is what happened. What an incredible blessing!!
