Hi Fellow Creators,

I have a big intention, and that is to have as much positive impact on people as I possibly can. Gwen, my wonderful word-spreader and I run four Facebook pages–which is a considerable commitment of our time. So believe me, it is as frustrating to me as it is to you when my posts don’t show up in your feed. What can you do about this? You can do any or all of these things:

1. You can be “notified” when we post

  1. Go to the pages on Facebook that you want to receive notifications for. Here are my pages:
    Live a Life You Love
    Boni Lonnsburry Author
    The Map
    Inner Art Inc.
  2. Like” the Page and continue hovering over the “Like” button
  3. When the drop down menu appears, select Get Notifications (see image above)

This will then activate notifications to you for that Page.

notification

Notifications alerts of a new post will appear in your Facebook Notification area.  A red square with the number of new notifications that you have not yet viewed appears at the top of your Facebook page in the web, mobile, or mobile app versions of Facebook.

Simply click on the Notification globe button to see a quick view of the each and then click on one to go to view that the full post.

2. You can also create an “interest list” for the pages you want to follow

  1. Go to the pages on Facebook that you want to appear as lists on your page. Here are my pages:
    Live a Life You Love
    Boni Lonnsburry Author
    The Map
    Inner Art Inc.
  2. Like” the Page and continue hovering over the “Like” button
  3. When the drop down menu appears, select Add to Interest Lists  (see image above)

point

You can either add it to an existing list or create a new list

And when you look in the lower left hand column on your home page, you can click on the list and all the posts will show up on your page (but not in your feed).

3. You can “Like” more, “Comment” more and “Share” more

Facebook’s algorithms will give you more of what you want, but they also keep you wanting more. So this is not a guaranteed solution, although it probably will help more posts to show up in your feed.

4. You can stop by for a visit more often

The best way to see everything on a page is to visit the page. Facebook takes note of this too, so those visits may indeed cause more posts to show in your feed as well.

5. You can also sign up for our email lists

Yeah, I know this doesn’t solve the Facebook problem (sorry). But if you want to be certain to be updated on new articles, products, books and offers, select one or all of our email lists by signing up here.

Thank you for your amazing support and love. And always remember, never forget, you DO create it all.

with love,
